Our brunch club was sadly missing some members yesterday, though we did see the return of Kate. Kate and I went to her choice for brunch, Alchemy. We had a delightful meal sans mimosas (as they were $8 each!) Note to Alchemy, when your drinks cost as much as your meal, it’s time to reprice. Next time we go, we’ll make our own mimosas at home first.
I had my first tofu scramble with mushrooms, spinach, and onions. It was a bit soggy, but hey, maybe that’s how a tofu scramble goes. I did get a refill on my coffee, which was a nice first for Brooklyn, and our waiter was very sweet.
We again forgot to take pictures of our meals, but I promise we’ll try next week.
